Airfield Closure Request
Airfield closure requests must be made at least 24 hours in advance. Airport Operations will review the request, approve, deny or modify the closure date/time/location if necessary. Responses to the request will be sent via the email provided below.
On the day of the approved closure, the requesting party must call Airport Operations at least 30 minutes prior to the start time to confirm the closure requested. Requesting party will then call Airport Operations again when on-site and ready for the closure.
If barricades are required for the closure, Airport Operations will meet the requesting party at the work site to assist with barricade placement. Airport Operations must be contacted when work is complete, and the area is cleaned and ready to be inspected. At no time shall barricades be removed before Airport Operations inspects the closed areas.
