The St. Louis Airport Interfaith Chaplaincy (SLAIC) held a ribbon-cutting ceremony and open house on Friday, March 22 in Terminal 2 of St. Louis Lambert International Airport (STL) to celebrate the opening of the new chapel. Located near gate E40, the Chapel offers prayer, religious services, spiritual guidance, empathetic listening, relational guidance, and presence to the passengers and staff at STL. The two hour open house gave passengers and staff members the opportunity to meet the some of the chaplains, get to know members of the clergy, and participate in the Chapel’s dedication while enjoying complimentary refreshments. Terminal 1 also has a Chapel located on the baggage claim level, near exit 11. On average, the Chapel holds over 500 religious services per year between the two locations.
