Passengers and guests planning to use the MetroLink light rail system to get to or from St. Louis Lambert International Airport (STL) on Saturday, August 24 should include extra commuting time in their travel plans. Due to maintenance, MetroLink will be operating shuttle buses from its North Hanley MetroLink Station to and from STL.

Red Line trains to STL will stop at the North Hanley MetroLink Station, where passengers must then board shuttles to get to STL. The MetroLink shuttle buses will drop off passengers at the Terminal 1 Bus Port. Passengers who need to get to Terminal 2 should utilize the Terminal Shuttle, which stops at the Terminal 1 Bus Port approximately every five to ten minutes. Passengers can access Terminal 1 via a walkway from the Bus Port through the Terminal 1 Parking Garage. Arriving passengers wishing to use the MetroLink light rail system will need to make their way to the Terminal 1 Bus Port, either via a Terminal Shuttle or the walkway on the yellow level of the Terminal 1 Parking Garage, where they can catch a MetroLink shuttle to the North Hanley Station.

MetroLink advises passengers to expect delays of 15 to 20 minutes and encourages passengers to plan ahead to make sure they arrive at STL in time for their flights. Airlines and the TSA recommend passengers arrive at the airport 2 hours prior to their scheduled boarding time.
