Crucial Connections: STL Photo of the Week

For the fourth time, St. Louis Lambert International Airport’s (STL) Business Diversity Development department (BDD) hosted a business diversity forum where exhibitors and attendees could connect with key decision makers to discuss upcoming contract opportunities. STL’s BDD office certifies minority and women-owned businesses for the City of St. Louis’ local Minority and/or Women Business Enterprise (MWBE) program as well as STL’s federal Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) so that they may develop partnerships and successfully compete for Airport contracts and other opportunities. This year’s event, with about 500 attendees, featured a keynote address from Otis Williams, the Executive Director of the St. Louis Development Corporation (SLDC). Exhibitors such as Aschinger Electric, the Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District (MSD), KAI, and Kozeny Wagner were all on hand to network with attendees and make those crucial connections.
