Heading off to college is always an exciting time. But heading off to college in the city that your hometown just beat for the National Hockey League Championship? That is extra exciting. Maggie Hannick was traveling from St. Louis Lambert International Airport (STL) to Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) the morning after the St. Louis Blues won game seven of the Stanley Cup Finals against the Boston Bruins. Wanting to represent the St. Louis Blues in her new town, Maggie stopped by one of the Hudson Stores at STL to purchase her first ever St. Louis Blues shirt. Maggie wasn’t the only one – officially licensed St. Louis Blues Stanley Cup Champion apparel was flying off the shelves the morning after their big win.
