Blue Belly: STL Photo of the Week

St. Louis might be the home of “Cardinal Nation” but we are also lucky to “Bleed Blue.” The St. Louis Blues head into game five of the second round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs tonight against the Dallas Stars and St. Louis Lambert International Airport (STL) couldn’t be prouder. On a recently rare sunny day, this Southwest Airlines aircraft departed on Runway 30L, headed for the blue skies. If you’ve spent time at STL, you know the color blue can be found everywhere. From the blue and red tails of Delta Airlines, to the bold blue stripe on American Airlines’ MD-80s, to the bright blue tails of Contour Airlines, to the blue bellies of Southwest Airlines aircraft, it seems like all of us at STL “Bleed Blue.”
