Terminal 1 Arrivals Drive Construction FAQ

On October 15, 2018 St. Louis Lambert International Airport (STL) began construction on Arrivals Drive in Terminal 1.  During this time, many passenger pickup locations have been temporarily relocated.  This work is being done in two phases, each phase is expected to last approximately eight weeks.  In order to help the public better understand these changes we have created this document to address the most frequently asked questions. I am an arriving passenger and will be using Rideshare (Uber/Lyft), where do I get picked up? Rideshare (Uber/Lyft) pickup has been moved the Departures level, outside exit 6. Once you exit the secure area, you will need to go up one level to the ticketing level, and walk to exit 6.

I am an arriving passenger being picked up by family/friends, where do I go? Passenger pickup has been moved to the yellow level of the Terminal 1 Garage. Once you exit the secure area and are in the baggage claim area, use exit 16 to gain access to the Terminal 1 Garage. There is no access to the garage via the crosswalks on Arrivals drive.

I am an arriving passenger being picked up by Hotel/Motel Shuttles, where do I go? Hotel/Motel shuttle pickup has been moved the Departures level, outside exit 6. Once you exit the secure area, you will need to go up one level to the ticketing level, and walk to exit 6.

I am an arriving passenger being picked up by a Parking Shuttle, where do I go? All parking lot shuttles have been relocated to the east end of Arrivals Drive. Once you exit the secure area and are on the baggage claim level, use exit 12 to reach Arrivals Drive.

I am an arriving passenger being picked up by a Rental Car Shuttle, where do I go? All rental car shuttles have been relocated to the west end of Arrivals Drive. Once you exit the secure area and are on the baggage claim level, use exit 17 to reach Arrivals Drive. 

I am a private party picking up an arriving passenger, where do I go? Passenger pickup has been moved to the yellow level of the Terminal 1 garage. Once you are in the garage, make your way to the yellow level, passenger pickup is along the curb. You will have a fifteen (15) minute grace period in the garage, free of charge. STL has two cell phone lots that provide a free waiting area, with arriving flight information on digital displays. We encourage you to wait there until your passenger notifies you they are ready for pick up. 

I am dropping off a passenger in Terminal 1, where do I go? The drop off location in Terminal 1 has not changed. You may still drop off passengers on Departures Drive.
