Packed to Play: STL Photo of the Week

Well before sunrise Friday, buses off-loaded nearly 300 travelers at St. Louis Lambert International Airport’s Terminal 1. They were packed and ready to play. Packed for a two-week trip. Ready to play because this is a group of music students from across Missouri. Missouri Ambassadors of Music represents band, jazz, orchestra and choral students, mostly high-school age, who along with some parents and group chaperones, were just hours into what will be a memorable journey to Europe. The students will be performing in churches and other venues in Great Britain, France, Switzerland, Austria and Germany. To start their journey, the group had to split up on  multiple flights on Delta Air Lines- some to Atlanta, others to Minneapolis - with connections to London, where they will regroup for their first performances on their summer music tour.
