Hospitality Hero: STL Photo of the Week

St. Louis Lambert International Airport’s (STL) customer service program, Catch Us giving, recognizes employees at STL who provide exceptional service to our passengers. On a cold day last December, Whelan Security guard Scott Sparks was “caught giving” by a traveler who had lost her silver pin “most likely in the cab.” This pin was handmade and a gift from her spouse, which made it incredibly important to her. Scott quickly determined which cab she rode in and discovered that the cab was already back at STL. He searched the cab and found her pin “in the little hole between the captain’s chairs.” Scott not only found the pin, he personally delivered it to her at her hotel. Scott was honored as a Catch Us Giving winner and has been selected to receive the Hospitality Super Hero award from Explore St. Louis at their Hospitality Heroes Awards Luncheon next month.
