Nearly eight months after it was announced, WOW air begins new international service between St. Louis Lambert International Airport (STL) and Keflavik International Airport (KEF) in Iceland. The inaugural arrival of WOW’s signature purple aircraft will land at STL at approximately 7:50 p.m. local time today. The first departure from STL is scheduled for 10:55 p.m.
WOW air, Iceland’s low-cost transatlantic airlines, announced in August 2017 that it would begin four weekly non-stop flights to Iceland from STL beginning this week. In January, WOW air added a fifth weekly flight to its schedule between STL and KEF from June 3 through September 23. Keflavik is a fast growing international hub that offers quick and easy connections to top European destinations such as London, Paris, Amsterdam, Berlin, Frankfurt, Dublin, and Copenhagen.
