Blimp Glimpse: STL Photo of the Week
Posted on August 10, 2018 in
The 2018 PGA Championship at the Bellerive Country Club
in Town and Country, MO, has brought thousands of extra visitors through St.
Louis Lambert International Airport (STL) this week. One visitor in particular
made quite a scene on Friday, August 10. The Goodyear Blimp, which provides
aerial coverage of the PGA Championship, flew over STL on its way to Bellerive,
giving travelers a glimpse of the famous blimp. 2018 marks the 100th year of
the PGA Championship and PGA is celebrating in big ways. This week, passengers
at STL were treated with a welcome experience like no other. Festivities
included live music on the main stage in Terminal 1, which was outfitted with
green turf and PGA branded signage, PGA branded column wraps, and floor
markers.
