Description

The goal of the Authority is to secure one (1) Concessionaire that will provide a highest quality common use airport Club service to the traveling public on a non-exclusive basis. To accomplish this goal, the Authority has established the following objectives for this SFB which must be met by the successful bidders:

  • Provide a common use airport club Concession providing travelers who have purchased or otherwise obtained club access with a comfortable and inviting space that meets or exceeds Airport user needs and adds value to other Airport and airline services;
  • Limit club access to travelers that have purchased a club membership (including day passes, longer term memberships, and reciprocal memberships);
  • Feature complimentary and/or certain non-complimentary food, non-alcoholic beverages and alcoholic beverages for club patrons only;
  • Allow sales of certain other services or merchandise with the express written approval of the Airport Director;
  • Allow food items to be brought into the club from other airport concessions;
  • Devise a system of “reciprocal” or bonus club access (e.g. credit card company promotions) to maximize club usage and revenue;
  • Be responsive to the Federal Aviation Administration (“FAA”) and City goals for Airport Concession Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (“ACDBE”) participation in concessions.
  • Provide a high level of service at prices that are attractive to Airport users;
  • Provide a Common Use Airport Club Concession that is operated by highly motivated, well-trained, efficient and courteous staff;
  • Provide an environment where both Concessionaire and Airport can be financially successful;
  • Optimize concession revenues at the Airport; and

The order of these objectives should not be construed as an indication of their relative merit as viewed by the City.
